How high can the pollen count go?

Neighborhood blogger David Baugher takes a look at the soaring pollen count.
The pollen count this morning in Atlanta was 5,733!!!  The extremely high category starts at 120.  We are 47 times above extremely high.
Read more about pollen and allergies at his blog, David's World.

(If anyone has a picture of a pollen-covered car, cat, dog, whatever, please forward to The JP Hub.)

Here are some snapshots taken with an iPhone of the neighborhood. Please share pictures you have of the snow. Email them so they can be added to the slideshow.

Snow scenes

The snow hushed traffic this morning as the icy, frigid weather closed schools and delayed the opening of businesses.

Some photos of the neighborhood taken around 8 this morning when the Weather Channel reported it 'felt like' 8 degrees.  Few dog walkers were spotted this morning. Go figure.

Darks days behind us

The winter solstice is here was Monday.

From this point out, the sun will stick around a little bit longer each day until the sun sets about 9 p.m. in June and July.

Do the dark days make you want to get under a blanket and host movie marathons?

Weather commands indoor projects

Rain is predicted every day through the middle of the week. The good news is the chance of rain drops to 40 and 30 percent after Monday.
